Misaligned text, unexpected spacing, and extra blank pages were especially common when working with PDFs due to their fixed-layout structure.
Importing forms that contained embedded elements, such as images, tables, or logos, often required manual cleanup after import. Even a copy and paste option. For many users, importing documents involved trial-and-error reformatting, re-uploading, or even switching file types entirely.

The new AI-powered system eliminates many of these pain points. By leveraging AI-based interpretation rather than traditional cloud conversion, Rentec Direct has significantly improved how documents are processed and reconstructed within the form editor.

The Form Import tool is now located directly on the main Forms page, making it faster and easier to start uploads and manage your documents without navigating through multiple menus.

The updated Forms page gives you a clear, at-a-glance view of your imports:
- Processing – Forms currently being converted
- Completed – Successfully imported and ready to use
- Failed – Needs a quick review or re-upload
Form Conversion
AI-assisted conversion automatically transforms uploaded PDFs and Word documents into structured, editable forms, making it easy to standardize documents, add data fields, and reuse them for communication and electronic signatures.
Give It a Try
Enhanced Form Importing in Rentec Direct is now available. Try uploading multiple forms at once and enjoy a faster, easier way to manage your documents.
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Navigate to Settings
- Under Program, select Forms
- Click Import Forms
- Select one or many files from your file library to begin the Import Process automatically.
That’s it.
Once imports begin, you can switch to other tasks in the software or step away while processing runs in the background
After the import completes, you can:
- Review your newly imported forms
- Make quick adjustments if needed
- Verify that you’ve reviewed it
- Approve the Form if it looks good, or discard it and try again.
Helpful Tips:
- Create Groups to store your forms in for ease of use
- Rename the Forms so they will be easy to identify
- Add your custom branding and logo
- Add data fields and signature lines to turn static documents into dynamic, reusable templates for communication and signature requests.
