Mobile Updates: Enhancements To The Menu’s Mobile Experience
While each change may appear minor, it’s meticulously crafted for seamless software use. These smaller enhancements are key to saving you time and maximizing the efficiency of your day-to-day tasks.
Header and Footer Updates
- Header: Altered to blend into the background, allowing you to focus on what’s important
- Muted Icons: Header icons and badges appear more muted when inactive (0 items available to view), reducing visual clutter and highlighting when actionable items are available.
- Streamlined Access: As part of our ongoing effort to make our software more user-friendly, we’ve relocated these footer links from the workspace to the sidebar.

Sidebar and Menu Improvements
- Larger Icons and Text: Improve readability
- Hover-to-Access: On large screens, when the sidebar collapses, the system hides the text while the icon remains visible. Simply hover over the icon to access individual pages.
- Sidebar Memory: The sidebar remembers whether it was open or closed when you resize the window or reload the page, and it even remembers whether to stay open or closed when you open a link in a new tab.
New Logo Customization Options
Easily customize the logo displayed in your software, reports, and documents. Access this feature through the new Appearance link.
You can upload both a full and a square logo, ensuring your branding looks great whether the side menu is expanded or collapsed.
To update your logo:
In your Rentec Direct account:
- Click on Settings
- Under Program, click on Appearance
- Click on Choose File to select your preferred logo from your files
Tip: Check the “Lighten space behind logo” box to make dark logos stand out.
