In fact, if you use consumer reports as part of your tenant screening process, you <em>must<\/em> send an adverse action notice.<\/p>\n<h2>An Adverse Action Notice or Adverse Action Denial Letter<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need to provide an adverse action notice to your rental applicants if you accessed a consumer report on them.
