While page redesigns are not always highlighted, they are more than just creating a more modern visual design. In most cases, redesigns create accessibility enhancements, such as clickable navigation links and menus, for desktop and mobile devices, making navigation a breeze.
That said, Rentec Direct’s latest redesign will save you time and improve navigation.
Redesigned Breadcrumb Navigation Shortcuts with New Menu Options
New, redesigned breadcrumbs are available throughout the application, providing easy navigation to all related pages. See the example below of the Edit Tenant page.
- Breadcrumbs have been placed at the top, above page subheaders, for a natural and visual flow of where you are in the software
- A dropdown menu has been added next to the breadcrumbs, removing the need to exit the page to accessother actions. You can now quickly access every tenant-related action from any other tenant-related page, saving you time navigating between software components. You’ll find the same helpful menu available within properties, bank accounts, owners, etc.
- Breadcrumbs and the menu offer clickable links to navigate to other related pages
In this example, clicking Tenants takes you to your tenant list; clicking the tenant’s name, Cleary, Jack, takes you to that tenant’s ledger; and clicking the dropdown reveals a menu of clickable options. After leaving the page through one of the options, use the page back to return to the Edit Tenant page.
Redesign Enhancements You May Have Noticed
While Rentec Direct is continuously improving the appearance and functionality of the software, there are a couple you may have noticed recently:
Optimized Spacing and Layout:
- Rentec Direct pages automatically adjust to mobile devices and desktops.
- Pages adapt to the size of the content rather than the entire view.
- Easier Access to Action Cards to process functions from a single location.
Redesigned Buttons:
- Summary Page buttons are displayed in bold when an action is required.
- Throughout the software, new text-only button styles sized to their content replaced an older solid design.
